Age slowly brings some avoidable accessories (like reading glasses) in our lives. Reading fine print and need for proper light becomes apparent as we start climbing ladder of 40's.
41ers is an attempt to save the "still young" from tight corners by illuminating and magnifying fine prints, credit card numbers etc on-the-fly.
While this idea was playing on mind of someone at FutureSoft, the immediate do-it-now inspiration came through an incident."It was 6 am, when a person in his 40's asked help of our colleague to deposit a cheque at local ATM. This person jogged about 2 kms to ATM only to realize that he did not carry his spectacles. Both our colleague and this person had smartphones but struggled with something as mundane as cheque deposit". We scanned other apps, but either they were paid-apps or had advertisements. So we embarked on doing something free and easy. 41ers as the name suggest is a utility platform that we intend to build up further based on real challenges faced by not-so-old.
Caution: 41ers does not attempt to replace spectacles, but just an attempt to help when you do not have them handy or are lethargic (or embarrassed) to use them.
